We have arrived here safely. The weather is warm and are able to go in the boat fishing every day. They are biting, enough for dinner. The cottage we are staying in is like this one on the postcard, just down the road. We are all well and hope to see Alice and Frank tomorrow.

We arrived here at the cabin yesterday, but we forgot to take the keys with us. We had to break in. Now we have some damage we have to do repairs before we go home. But the weather is sunny and warm, and we are safe.

Dewey Lake, a southwest Michigan lake, is located in Cass County’s Silver Creek Township. Dewey Lake is roughly 223 acres in size and is one of the over 150 lakes within a 15 mile radius of Dowagiac. Popular Magician Lake, a 600 acre lake, is located just across Rt.152.
Dewey Lake is a private Michigan lake with no known public access. The residents of Dewy Lake are serviced by a municipal sewer service.
As with so many other Michigan lakes, this lake can be confused with the Dewey Lake located in Jackson county.
