Description: French Farm Lake is a Michigan lake located in Northern Emmet County. This Michigan lake has 585 areas of surface waters but is shallow in depth with the maximum depth of ten feet. Fishermen have reported catches of Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Bullhead. There are much better lakes in the county for fishing; this one may be a good consideration for Duck hunting. The Lake is largely undeveloped. French Farm Lake has the distinaction of being the Northern most lake in the lower peninsula of Michigan; this lake is also in walking distance of Lake Michigan.
