Fish Lake is Located in Grand Traverse County. This is a small lake with only 18 acres of surface water but has reported depths of 40 feet. The state of Michigan maintains a public launch site on the northern edge of the lake off County Road 633. I had hoped to get a good shot of some of the waterfowl on the lake, but the day I was there I wasn’t even able to even get a good shot of the lake. Some days are just like that!
