• Boat Launch

Bills Lake is located in beautiful Croton Township in southern portion of Newaygo County. This popular all sports Michigan lake consists of 204 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 60 feet. Conveniently located along M82, exit #118 of US 131. Bills Lake is a neighbor to Brooks Lake, Croton Pond, Hess Lake and Pettit Lake as well as the Muskegon River.

For those weekend supplies, The city of Newaygo is just a few miles West on M82.

Fishermen on Bills Lake report catches of Bluegill, Black Crappies, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Rock, Small and Largemouth Bass. To put your fishing skills to good use, the Michigan DNR maintains a public access site with a hard surface boat launch, parking and vault style restrooms. The site can be found on the north west corner of the lake just off Pear Road.

Bills Lake is largely developed with mainly year round residences. Recent prices of homes on the lake are in the 200K range.
