Silver Lake is located in Lincoln Township in Clare County. This Michigan lake consists of 54 acres of surface waters with depths of up to 50 feet. Silver Lake is developed with cottages and some year round homes.

Silver Lake is just seven miles North of Farwell, close to US 10 and Rt 115. The location of the lake makes it convenient to run for needed weekend supplies.

The usage of motorized boats as well as the hours they can be used are restricted by the township. You should read for yourself township ordinance #22 to determine if Silver Lake of interest to you.

Silver Lake is a little known lake that does not appear on many people’s radar but with the lake’s population of Bass, Perch and Pike, it is worthy of notice. You will either need a friend on the lake, or purchase a cottage as there is no known public access site.
