Description: Miner Lake is located in Allegan Township in central Allegan County, two miles north and one ½ mile east of the city limits of Allegan. This Michigan lake consists of 325 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 46 feet. The property owners of Miner Lake has formed a lake owners association. Fishermen report catches of Black Crappie, Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch and Pumkinseed. The Michigan DNR maintains a public access site with a hard surface boat launch and parking, near the corner of 120th and 26th. Limited parking and vault style toilets can be found at the site. |
