Description: Thumb Lake is located in Charlevoix County near Boyne Falls. This Michigan lake consists of 484 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 120 feet. 

Thumb Lake is home to the Camp Lake Louise, and Lake Louise Methodist Camp, a 3000 acre Christian camp.

“Tuesday. A rainy day in the camp, rained hard last night. Today, not enough to stop activities. I teach two classes in nature studies, one with a guest. It looks as though I will not leave until noon on Saturday as they are trying to hold classes Sat morning. Hade a date this P.M. with two girls- ha!”
