Description:

Shafer Lake is located in Lawrence Township in Van Buren County, Just South of I 94.  This Michigan lake consists of 81 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 72 feet.

Fishermen report catches of Perch.

The public access site which includes a gravel ramp, parking, and restrooms is located on the west side of the lake, off County Road 681
